Lacey Yahnke is an Emmy award-winning multimedia sports journalist with over five years of experience in storytelling, video production and editorial content creation. Throughout her career, she’s worked with major outlets like ESPN, NBC Sports and Frontwave Arena.

Her work has enabled her to produce long-form video content, write feature stories and craft narratives that delve deeply into the heart of the sports world.

She’s passionate about using journalism to elevate the voices of athletes and uncover how sports reflect and perpetuate broader societal issues, from inequality to injustice. She’s committed to creating content that not only reveals the human behind the story but also explores the larger conversations that shape them.

She now works as Feeding San Diego’s Chief Content Producer, expanding her experience in directing, editing and producing longer-form human interest pieces.
